The Road to Financial Success- Be patient and trust God's provision
/

Everyone wishes he could just get results immediately after prayer. But in some situations, answers do not come quickly. But as a believer, you need to trust God for his provision. This may be a financial matter or something else. At times this provision requires some patience. You need to trust Him. The Bible tells us that God has good plans not to harm us. Impatience has painful consequences, as illustrated in the story of King Saul. We should strive to exercise patience as we wait for God's provision to come in. We should also remember to thank Him for what He has already done and for what He will do. He will always provide for His own time. Scriptural references are as follows:

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11). This Bible verse reminds us that God has a plan for us. He loves us and has a desire for us to have a successful future. We can trust His plans for our lives.

“And my God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19). We can rely on God's promises and be assured that He will take care of us.

Another reference is found in 1 Samuel 13:8-14, where Saul failed to wait for the Prophet Samuel and started doing something he was not expected to do. By so doing, he lost the kingdom to David. Let us now look at some tips on patience as we trust God for financial provision.

1) Focus on our faith in God and not our fears and worries.

Faith is critical to whatever we expect from God. That is where our focus needs to be. Avoid fears and worries. Fears and worries are not from God, but from the enemy. We should always remember that God is in control and will guide us through whatever challenge we face. We can trust in God’s power and goodness to see us through. As Orson Scott Card once wrote: “Faith doesn't mean that you never doubt. It only means that you never act upon your doubts.” So don’t worry if you have doubts, just keep them to yourself and never let them see the light of day.

2) Practice gratitude and be thankful for what we already have.

One of the ways to express our faith in God is gratitude. It is to be thankful for what we already have. Gratitude helps us to focus on what we have, rather than what we lack. It helps us to appreciate the beauty in life, and brings us closer to God. It also helps us to be content with our current situation, and to see the positive in every situation. For instance, thanking God for the people in our lives, the blessings we have received, and the opportunities we have had can help us to look forward to the future with more optimism and faith.

3) Trust in God's right timing and purpose.

With God, nothing is late. All is on time. We can trust him fully for financial provision. We can be sure that he will provide for us if we put our faith in him. He will provide in his own way and timing, and it will be better than anything we could have planned. He will never let us down.

We can rest in the fact that God has a plan for our lives. We can trust that he will take care of us and guide us according to his will. He will never fail us.

In conclusion, may I remind you that God loves you. The plans he has for you are good. Trust Him and exercise patience. Do not be like King Saul who lost his future and that of his generation because of impatience. Focus on your faith and avoid fears and worries. Trust God's timing and purpose. Remember, nothing is impossible for God. He is the source of all hope and will never abandon you. Put your faith in Him and He will lead you in the right direction. Please visit my website for info…
